David Bennett

David has extensive experience in advising on, arranging and underwriting a range of financing instruments in global bank debt and capital markets. He retired from Macquarie Group in 2013, after almost 36 years in Investment Banking including in roles as Group Treasurer and Global Head of Debt Capital Markets. David’s interest in impact investing was cemented by past positions as a member of the Australian Advisory Board on Impact Investing and Chair of Social Enterprise Finance Australia (SEFA).

David is currently: Chair, Challenger Retirement Investments Services; Deputy Chair, Export Finance Australia; Director, AquaSure Holdings;and a member of the investment committees of Palisade Investment Partners and Palisade Impact.
